Scholarship Opportunities
The Taylor County Sportsman’s Club supports advanced educational opportunities for local graduating high school students. Scholarships are awarded to Gilman, Medford and Rib Lake High Schools. The scholarship award is $1000 and applicants going into natural resource fields are all encouraged to apply but all applicants will be considered. Academia and community involvement are very important and should be included in the content of your application. Applications can be filled out and submitted to your school’s guidance counselor by April 1st. The TCSC Scholarship Committee will review all applications.
The payment of the scholarship will first be paid to the student by the high school after counselor verification of successful completion of first semester of college. The high school will then be reimbursed after submitting a bill to the Taylor County Sportsman’s Club.
