Wildlife Projects

The Taylor County Sportsman’s Club has assisted with development and funding of a large variety of wildlife projects here in the county. Hunting and outdoor enthusiasts have all benefitted from Club funding and volunteer support. Examples of projects done across the county include winter bird surveys, trail maintenance on the county, state and federal lands, winter ski trail maintenance, grouse habitat improvement, wood duck and blue bird house construction, and assisting the local schools with purchasing archery equipment to be used in their physical education classes.
